Flores Tosses Six Scoreless & Strikes Out 10 in Mt. SAC’s 4-0 SCC Victory at LA Harbor; Hagerty Goes 2-for-4 w/2 RBIs

College Baseball:

Michael Flores, Damien Torres and Ray Northey combined on a seven-hit shutout for Mt. SAC.

The Mounties picked up a 4-0 SCC victory at LA Harbor on Friday.

Flores went six innings and allowed four hits.

The conference’s best pitcher didn’t issue a walk and struck out 10.

Torres provided two scoreless on one hit and a strikeout.

And Northey closed out the game with a scoreless ninth, including one strikeout.

Troy Harding went 2-for-4, and both Julian Rodriguez and Ethan Kang doubled in the loss.

Jamie Robertson was saddled with the loss.

Robertson surrendered four runs (two earned) on eight hits over five innings.

He walked three and struck out four.

Andrew Ravelo provided four scoreless innings of relief for LA Harbor, allowimng two hits, walking one and fanning three.

Blake Hagerty went 2-for-4 with a run and two RBIs.

Joey Rossetti singled, doubled and scored.

Gabriel Rico walked, singled twice and scored.

Elijah Pelayo went 2-for-4.

Logan Corthell had an RBI single in the top of the fourth inning.

CJ Ontiveros walked and scored for the Mounties.

Up next: Mt. SAC is going for their first three-game SCC series sweep on Saturday.
