San Dimas Offense Comes Alive Late in Friday’s 5-3 Valle Vista League Victory Over Northview

Baseball:

San Dimas improved to 3-0 in Valle Vista League games on Friday.

The Saints scored late in their 5-3 victory.

SDHS got two runs apiece in the fifth and sixth innings.

Kody King went six innings and allowed three runs on seven hits.

King didn’t issue a walk and struck out seven NHS batters.

Jude Favela got the final two outs to earn the save.

Dean Curley went 2-for-3, drove in a run and scored twice.

Sal Batres doubled and had one RBI.

Joey Alcon singled, scored and drove in a run.

Isaac Nava singled twice, and Dylan Ramos doubled.

Kiki Villegas went four innings for the Vikings and allowed three runs (one earned) on five hits.

Villegas issued one walk and struck out four.

SDHS got two runs on three hits off Batres.

Kasen Khansarinia doubled twice and scored.

Ryan Castro singled, doubled, scored twice and had one RBI.

Landon White singled, doubled, scored and drove in one run.

Vaughn Coleman walked twice, and was hit by pitch with the bases loaded.

Rocco Regan singled and drove in a run.

Up next: SDHS travels to Northview today (Saturday) at 2.
