San Marino continued its ascent as a program on Monday.

The Titans had a pair of pitchers combine on a two-hit shutout (10-0) over Gabrielino in five innings.

One year after going 7-15-1, SMHS is now 9-2 in 2023.

Tyler Giddings went three innings and allowed one hit.

He issued one walk and fanned four Eagles’ batters.

Nico Osegueda provided two scoreless innings, and he surrendered just one hit.

Osegueda walked a pair and struck out three.

Offensively, Ryan Park had two of San Marino’s six hits and scored a pair of runs.

Giddings helped his own cause with a walk, single and he scored three runs.

Coleman Morning singled and scored.

Kyle Ly went 1-for-1, with a walk, three runs and two RBIs.

Mikey Yessaian doubled and drove in two runs.

Truman Koch drew a pair of walks and scored.

Up next: The Titans will host the defending RHL champs from Monrovia on Thursday.
