Girls Basketball:
La Salle earned its second consecutive trip to a CIF-SS title game.
The Lancers defeated Redondo Union, 46-36, in the CIF-SS Division 2AA semifinal round on Saturday night.
For the second consecutive game, Kaden Cortes led the La Salle offense.
Cortes scored 12 points.
Casey Higgins chipped in with 11 and Audrey Chen provided 10 points.
Redondo Union’s Ella Zimmerman led all scorers with 15 points.
Up next: The Lancers will face Hart next weekend to decide the D-2AA championship.
The Indians edged San Juan Hills, 68-65, on Saturday evening.
