Rio Hondo Prep’s Sophia Tarampi had a solid last week of the regular season.
The Kares defeated Poly, 54-48, in a Tuesday Prep League showdown.
Tarampi finished with 22 points and four rebounds.
She made eight of her 13 field goal attempts.
And that included a 6-of-8 performance from three-point land.
Two days later, RHP finished the regular season with a 49-40 victory at Chadwick.
Tarampi produced 12 points, and hit three 3-pointers.
She tallied 12 points and none of those came from beyond the 3-point arc.
Tarampi also had three rebounds, three assists and two steals.
RHP finished second to undefeated Flintridge Prep, and had their highest showing in at least 20 years.
