Girls Basketball:
La Salle finished the 2022-23 regular season with a 56-35 nonleague victory over Rolling Hills Prep.
Etiwanda’s 26 wins is most among any 210 Prep Sports girls program, while La Salle and Flintridge Prep are just one-game back of the Eagles with 25 regular season victories.
The Lancers had a 33-14 lead at the half and finished with a 21-point victory.
Audrey Chen led the way with 16 points and Casey Higgins had 14.
Reese Wong and Kaden Cortes contributed seven points apiece.
Ellie Chen’s six points came off the Lancers’ only 3-pointers of the night.
Nicole Fernandez led RHP with 11 points and Mia Fernandez had 10.
Up next: The Lancers will get their playoff opponent Sunday at noon.

Congratulations to La Salle seniors Reese Wong, Meghan Christensen, Ellie Chen and Lauren Cardenas for a terrific run over the last four years, including a CIF-SS championship in 2021-22.
