Girls Basketball:
Rio Hondo Prep finished Prep League play with a 49-40 victory at Chadwick.
The Kares 9-3 record was good enough to finish second behind undefeated Flintridge Prep.
It’s RHP’s best showing in at least 20 years.
Sophia Tarampi led the way with 12 points, including three 3-pointers.
Tarampi also had three rebounds, three assists and two steals.
Reagan Johnson contributed 10 points, two rebounds and five assists.
Emma Carson had a solid night with eight points, nine rebounds, three assists and four steals.
Elle Curtis provided eight points, four rebounds and a steal.
Tara Riley finished with eight points, five rebounds and two steals.
Madelyn Van Cleve chipped in with two points and four rebounds.
