Flintridge Prep Finishes Prep League Championship Run w/a 12-0 Record; Wolves Pick Up Sweep of Defending Champs From Providence

Girls Basketball:

The only way to regain the Prep League championship with a little penache would be to sweep the defending champions from Providence.

And Flintridge Prep did that on Wednesday night.

The Wolves cruised to a 53-36 victory, and finished league play at 12-0.

Prep got out to an 18-2 lead after the first eight minutes and never looked back.

In her last regular season high school game, Ashley Chea had 21 points, four steals and eight rebounds.

Olivia Childs added nine points and 15 rebounds.

Maddie Smith chipped in with nine points, seven rebounds, and three steals.

Izzie Chan contributed six points, two rebounds, three steals and a block.

Gigi Mastras provided six points and three boards.

Lia Krumion led Providence with 17 points, and Bridget Crenshaw had seven.
