Maranatha Blows Out Heritage Christian, 4-0, on Senior Night; Minutemen Nearing Outright Olympic League Championship

Maranatha is just one win from securing an outright Olympic League championship.

The Minutemen cruised to a 4-0 victory over visiting Heritage Christian.

And on senior night, three of the four goals were scored by 12th graders.

And that included captain Jay Lee, who scored in the game’s first minute.

Jacob Brantingham and his fellow senior, Daniel Imasdounian, both scored in Friday’s win.

George Peterson also found the back of the net for MHS.

Senior Jaden Brainard assisted on half of Maranatha’s four goals.

Lorenzo Rodriguez had five saves for the Minutemen.

Up next: MHS will close out their Olympic League schedule on Wednesday, as they travel to Whittier Christian (13-5-1, 3-2-1) at 3:15.
