Boys Basketball:
Northview handed San Dimas its first loss since December 28th, and in the process, snapped the Saints nine-game winning streak.
The Vikings edged visiting SDHS, 56-54, and the Saints fell to 7-1 in Valle Vista League games.
Northview’s Nick Santillan led all scorers with 19 points.
Sam Osi hit a game-high four 3-pointers, and finished with 16 points.
The Vikings took a 25-16 lead into the break, but San Dimas would fight all the way back thanks to a 22-12 run in the third quarter.
Logan Hodson led SDHS with 15 points.
Ethan Chavez chipped in with 11 points and Aaron Park finished with six points and six assists.
Chavez hit three of San Dimas’ five 3-pointers.
Caleb McKendrick had 12 for NHS.
Up next: San Dimas will host Covina on Tuesday and travel to Charter Oak in Thursday’s regular-season finale.
Northview travels to Diamond Ranch on Tuesday and welcomes West Covina to their gym on Thursday.
