Boys Basketball:
Damien secured win No. 22 of the season on Wednesday evening.
The Spartans picked up a 74-48 Baseline League victory at Chino Hills.
Nate Garcia had a game-high 27 points.
Xavier Clinton chipped in with 18 and Jacob Allen scored nine points.
Logan Jereczek led Chino Hills with 17 points, and Tristan Crisostomo had 13.
Both Jereczek and Crisostomo hit three 3-pointers apiece.
With three games remaining, the Spartans are one-game back of first-place Etiwanda.
DHS and EHS meet up in the season finale at Etiwanda on Friday, February 3.
