Boys Soccer:
Marshall Fundamental killed two birds with one victory on Wednesday.
The Eagles edged visiting El Monte, 3-2, in a Mission Valley League game.
The win snapped Marshall’s six-game MVL losing streak, and it also secured the Eagles their first league win since December 13th.
Michael Hernández scored twice on Wednesday.
One came on a header and the other on a penalty kick.
Both of his goals came in the first half.
Victor Camacho scored the MFSS second-half goal.
Up next: The Eagles will host Rosemead on Friday at 3:30.
