GHS Drops Hammer on Alta Loma; Tartans Remain in First Place Tie w/Claremont After Wednesday’s 80-23 Victory

Girls Basketball:

Glendora remained in a first-place tie with Claremont after Wednesday’s 80-23 trouncing of visiting Alta Loma.

The Tartans led 32-4 after the first quarter and it was all she wrote.

With three Palomares League games to play, GHS and CHS have a one-game lead over Bonita.

The Bearcats face both the Wolfpack and Tartans over their next two games.

Hailey Schaffer led the way with 21 points.

Miriam Tomt finished with 14, Brianna Gomez 13 and Rylie Anderson scored 11 points.

Gomez had three of Glendora’s seven 3-pointers.

Jaylynn Davis scored nine of Alta Loma’s 23 points.
