Boys Basketball:
Pasadena inched even closer to an outright Pacific League championship on Tuesday night.
The Bulldogs defeated visiting Burbank, 67-47, and improved their league record to 10-1.
With three games to play in the regular season, the Bulldogs lead second-place Crescenta Valley by one game.
If CV was able to catch PHS, the Bulldogs would still get the league’s No. 1 seed because of their sweep over the Falcons.
Desmond Every had 15 points, including four 3-pointers, four rebounds, two assists and two steals.
Fidel Cabrera finished with 14 points, eight rebounds, eight assists and three steals.
Cabrera went 8-for-8 from the free-throw line.
Jason Guyton had a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds.
Joey Jester contributed 13 points, nine rebounds and three assists.
Casey Barrett added six points, four boards and a pair of assists.
Nile Evans chipped in with three points and DeAndre Chapman had two.
