Jester, Cabrera & Guyton Lead Pasadena to a 63-51 Victory at Glendale; Bulldogs Improve to 9-1 in Pacific League Games

Boys Basketball:

Pasadena inched closer to a Pacific League championship.

The Bulldogs picked up a 63-51 victory at Glendale on Friday night.

Jovan Jester led PHS with 17 points, while Fidel Cabrera and Jason Guyton chipped in with 16 points apiece.

The Bulldogs (9-1) hold a one-game lead over Crescenta Valley with four league games remaining on their schedule.

And Pasadena picked up the two-game season-sweep of the Falcons last week.

PHS led 32-20 at the break, and the Bulldogs and Nitros both scored 31 points each in the second half.

Haig Jovalagian led Glendale with 18 points.

Denzel Lora and Christian Pierre had 10 points apiece for the Nitros.

Up next: PHS will host Taft tonight (Saturday) at 6:30.
