Boys Basketball:
San Dimas stayed unbeaten in Valle Vista League play on Thursday.
The Saints outlasted a gritty Diamond Ranch program, 58-47, to improve to 6-0 in VVL games.
SDHS had a 33-12 advantage in points beyond the 3-point line.
Ethan Chavez hit four 3’s and finished with 17 points.
Chavez also had seven rebounds.
Nathan Yearout also made four 3-pointers and he contributed 14 points and four assists in Thursday’s win.
Jayden Wint led Diamond Ranch with 17 points.
Kareem Abdul Haqq provided 11 points for the Panthers.
Logan Hodson had a big night for SDHS.
Hodson scored 12 points, grabbed 13 rebounds and dished out four assists.
Up next: The Saints travel to West Covina on Monday at 6:30 as they enter the final two weeks of the regular season.
