Girls Basketball:
Westridge hung with Rio Hondo Prep for about eight minutes on Thursday.
The Tigers trailed just 18-16 after the first period.
RHP, however, would outscore Westridge, 41-10, the rest of the way, and claimed a 59-26 victory.
The Kares improved to 5-2 in Prep League games.
Emma Carson led the way with 13 points.
Reagan Johnson had 11 points and Tara Riley chipped in with 10.
Westridge got eight points from Isabel De Leon and Sarah Kong chipped in with seven points.
Up next: RHP will travel to Mayfield on Friday at 3:30.
