Boys Basketball:
Pasadena continued its success against their crosstown rivals from Muir.
The Bulldogs picked up a 54-47 road victory on Friday night to improve their Pacific League record to 7-1.
PHS and Crescenta Valley sit atop the league standings and will meet up on Tuesday night at Pasadena High.
Muir actually led by four points at the break, but PHS would outscore the Mustangs, 39-28, in the second half.
Jovan Jester led all scorers with 17 points and Fidel Cabrera added 13 points for the Bulldogs.
Saadiq Moore (14 points) and Marquis Moore (10) combined for 24 points in the loss.
All nine of Bradley Jones’ points came from beyond the 3-point arc.
Muir and Pasadena hit three 3-pointers each.
Up next: PHS & MHS will both be in action on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs host CV and Muir welcomes Burbank.
Both games are set to tip at 5.
