Boys Basketball:
Damien improved to 3-0 in Baseline League play after Friday’s 52-24 victory over visiting Los Osos.
The Spartans defense held the Grizzlies scoreless in the second quarter.
Nate Garcia had a game-high 20 points.
Xavier Clinton provided nine points and Caiden Brown had eight.
Bradon Suber (11 points) and Cayden Hong (8) combined to score 19 of Los Osos’ 24 points.
Deacon Tolliver’s five points accounted for the rest of the Grizzlies’ offense.
Up next: LOHS and DHS will both be in action on Wednesday.
The Spartans travel to RCHS, and the Grizzlies visit Etiwanda.
