Glendora Closes Strong in Friday’s 64-49 Palomares League Victory at Bonita; Rylie Anderson Led Way w/14 Points

Girls Basketball:

Glendora remained unbeaten in Palomares League play after Friday’s 73-49 victory at Bonita.

The Bearcats rallied from double-digits down to get to within 48-44 of GHS.

But Glendora would close out the game on a 16-5 run.

Rylie Anderson led the way with 14 points, three rebounds, four assists and six steals.

Addison Martin played huge, and contributed 13 points and seven boards.

Bonita’s Amore Mason had a game-high 17 points.

Brooke Van Duyne chipped in with 11 points and Nicole Uballe finished with 10.

GHS got 10 points from Miriam Tomt and eight from Reagan Herrmann.

Haley Schaffer added six points, six rebounds, 10 assists and five steals.

Up next: GHS and BHS will both be in action on Tuesday.

The Tartans visit Ayala and the Bearcats travel to Colony.
