Boys Basketball:
Ayala put Claremont away early on Friday night.
The Bulldogs had a 32-point lead at the break and cruised to a 73-28 Palomares League victory.
Christian Martinez (16 points) and Joshua Townsell (14) actually combined to outscore the Wolfpack, 30-28, at CHS.
Parker Gorospe contributed nine points and Dylan Victorio scored eight in the win.
Claremont got five points from Wyatt Brandt and four each by Mason Gardner and Wani Limbe.
Up next: AHS will battle Western Christian this afternoon (Saturday) at 1:30.
And on Tuesday, the Bulldogs host Glendora in a battle of 3-1 Palomares League programs.
