Pasadena Gets Balanced Attack in Tuesday’s 76-55 Pacific League Victory Over Hoover; Bulldogs Travel to Rival, Muir, on Friday Night

Boys Basketball:

Pasadena held on to its share of the Pacific League penthouse on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs defeated Hoover, 76-55, and improved to 6-1 in league play.

Fidel Cabrera led PHS with 19 points, five rebounds, four steals and three assists.

Jason Guyton chipped in with 18 points, five rebounds, three assists and three steals.

Joey Jester added 15 points, six assists, five steals, four rebounds and two blocked shots.

Casey Barrett had 10 points and five rebounds.

Zack Van Patten had a game-high 25 points, including four 3-pointers for Hoover.

Justin Herrera finished with 12 points, and Mo Shareef had 11 points, two rebounds and three assists.

Up next: Pasadena will travel to Muir on Friday night at 7.

The Mustangs (10-9, 5-2) dropped a 24-point decision at Crescenta Valley on Tuesday.
