Two days after a one-point loss at Arcadia, Pasadena hosted Burroughs in another Pacific League contest.
And the Bulldogs would drop the hammer on the Bears, 83-60, on Saturday night.
PHS is now 5-1 in league and in a three-way tie for first place with CV and Muir.
Fidel Cabrera went off for 34 points.
Cabrera scored 24 of his 34 points in the second half, as PHS pulled away from Burroughs.
Jason Guyton chipped in with 19 points and Jovan Jester had 16.
Guyton hit a game-high three 3-pointers.
Samuel Horning led Burroughs with 20 points and Tyrell Burrell finished with 16 points.
Up next: PHS will host Hoover on Tuesday at 5.
