Girls Basketball:
After winning the first 15 games of the 2022-23 season, La Salle has dropped two of their last three.
St. Paul defeated the visiting Lancers, 47-42, in Tuesday’s Del Rey League opener.
After trailing 26-24 at the half, the Swordsmen outscored La Salle, 23-16, in the second half.
Gloria Barrera scored a game-high 26 points for St. Paul.
Casey Higgins led La Salle with 12 points and Audrey Chen contributed 10.
Reese Wong finished with eight points and had two of the Lancers’ three 3-pointers.
Up next: La Salle travels to San Clemente on Thursday at 6.
