Girls Basketball:
Two nights after dropping their first game of the 2022-23 season, La Salle got back to their winning ways.
The Lancers crushed Verdugo Hills, 75-36, on Thursday evening.
La Salle had its most balanced offensive output this season, as 11 separate players scored.
Reese Wong went 5-for-5 behind the 3-point line and finished with a game-high 17 points.
Kaden Cortes chipped in with 10 points and Audrey Chen and Casey Higgins provided eight points each in the win.
Rayleen Castanos led Verdugo Hills with 10 points, and Nicole Vanegas chipped in with nine points.
Up next: La Salle opens Del Rey League play on Tuesday at St. Paul.
