Girls Basketball:
Flintridge Prep went into an almost two week break with an incredible 16-1 start to the 2022-23 season.
The Wolves defeated Burbank, 51-23, at the La Canada Tournament on Thursday night.
Prep went 4-0 and finished first at La Canada.
Maddie Smith had a game-high 17 points to go with six rebounds and four steals.
Ashley Chea contributed 13 points, seven assists and three steals.
Karen Casillas led Burbank with 10 points and Lauren Navarro chipped in with six points.
Up next: The Wolves will be off until Jan. 11, when they travel to Village Christian.
