Boys Basketball:
Derek David clutched up in Wednesday’s 50-49 victory over Rosemead.
David’s basket with eight seconds to play was the game-winning shot, and six of his eight came in the fourth quarter.
Alex Mustain scored six of his game-high 14 points in a fourth period that saw RHP outscore Rosemead, 22-18.
Tyler Dang finished with nine points, while Rainn Pollock and Nate Curtis chipped in with eight points each.
Alex Corleto led Rosemead with 11 points.
Kervy Acob contributed nine points, and Rhys Anderson provided eight points for the Panthers.
Up next: RHP hosts Edgewood next Friday (Jan. 6) at 7:30.
