La Salle extended its 2022-23 season-opening win streak to 14 games after Wednesday’s 56-18 victory over Immaculate Heart.
The win advances the Lancers to the championship game of their own La Salle Winter Classic tonight (Thursday) at 7 against Saugus.
But back to Wednesday.
Audrey Chen led all scorers with 14 points and Casey Higgins chipped in with 12.
Reese Wong finished with nine points, and Kaden Cortes’ six points came on a pair of 3-pointers.
Priscilla Hidalgo, Isabella Majetti and Nora Ito had four points apiece to lead Immaculate Heart.
Up next: La Salle will meet Saugus (6-5) tonight (Thursday) for the tournament title.
The tip is set for 7.
In the third-place game at 5:30, Holy Martyrs takes on Flintridge Prep.
