Girls Basketball:
La Salle opened its own Winter Classic with a 55-21 victory over Temescal Canyon.
The outcome was never in doubt, and the Lancers finally got to welcome Ellie Chen back into their lineup.
Casey Higgins scores a game-high 14 points and Reese Wong chipped in with 10 points.
Kolena Apana led Temescal Canyon with 11.
Audrey Chen finished with seven points, and her big sister, Ellie, contributed six points.
Up next: The Lancers will host Immaculate Heart on Wednesday at 4.
