Maranatha won its third consecutive game on Friday.
The Minutemen edged Monrovia, 1-0, to improve to 5-2-1.
Jacob Brantingham scored off a Jay Lee corner kick in the first half and that was all Lorenzo Rodriguez needed.
Rodriguez had six saves in Friday’s shutout.
Up next: MHS will battle King/Drew this morning (Saturday) at 11:30.
