Boys Basketball:

Don’t let San Dimas’ 5-4 record deceive you.

The Saints have proven they can play with most anyone.

And Friday night at the Glendora Tournament was no different.

SDHS played catch-up most of the night until Aaron Park’s two free-throws evened the game at 56-56.

Diamond Bar (10-2), however, would get a Dior Brown 3-pointer with three seconds to play led the Brahmas to a 59-56 victory.

Ethan Alfonso led DBHS with 18 points and four assists.

The Brahmas got 12 points, eight rebounds and five assists from Malcolm Bell.

Brown finished with 11 points and five assists.

Logan Hodson paced the SDHS offense with 17 points.

Park finished with 13 points and Ethan Chavez chipped in with 11.

Up next: The Saints close out the Glendora Tournament today (Saturday) with a 2:30 showdown against Temple City.

Diamond Bar meets up with Bishop Amat at 7, and with the tournament title at stake.
