WCHS Rallies Back From 18-Point Deficit in 48-41 Victory Over John Glenn; Steven Julio Scores 25 Points for Bulldogs

There are defining moments in a solid team that a program looks back to.

And for West Covina, that moment could be Wednesday night.

The Bulldogs trailed by 18 points at the half to John Glenn.

WCHS would storm back, however, including a 24-5 run in the fourth quarter to defeat the Eagles, 48-41.

Steven Julio had a career-best 25 points to go with his six rebounds.

Jason Jenkins chipped in with seven points and three rebounds in the win.

All seven on Jenkins’ points came in the decisive fourth period.

Armando Arreola led Glenn with 14 points and Seyharmony Somchan added 11 points in the loss.

Up next: WCHS will be in action tonight (Friday).

The Bulldogs host Bassett at 7:30.
