Girls Basketball:
Flintridge Prep and Sierra Vista met up for the second time in 12 days.
On Nov. 23, the Wolves hammered the Dons, 77-14, at the Arroyo Tournament.
Fast forward to Monday, and things barely got better for SVHS.
FP cruised to a 65-16 victory in the first round of the Covina Tournament.
As always, Ashley Chea led the way.
The Wolves senior had a game-high 26 points.
Maddie Smith chipped in with 13 points and eight rebounds.
Akemi Fu scored three points and grabbed 10 rebounds in Monday’s win.
Jessie Navarro led the Dons with 10 points.
Up next: The Wolves face Wilson of Hacienda Heights on Wednesday at 3:30.
