Girls Basketball:
Glendora picked up its biggest win of the young 2022-23 season on Friday.
The Tartans claimed a 62-52 victory over previous unbeaten Northview in the semifinal round of the San Marino Tournament.
GHS outscored NHS, 55-42, through the first three quarters, before the Vikings had a 10-7 advantage in the fourth period.
Rylie Anderson had a game-high 25 points for the Tartans.
Brianna Gomez chipped in 16 points.
Alana Diaz paced the Northview offense with 21 points.
Kristin Morella contributed 15 points for the Vikings.
Up next: GHS will battle Orangewood Academy (4-0) tonight (Saturday) for the San Marino Tournament championship.
The tip is scheduled for 7:30 at San Marino High School.
