Girls Basketball:
Glendora earned a spot in tonight’s semifinal round of the San Marino Tournament after a 78-8 thumping of St. Lucy’s.
To say the Regents start to the 2022-23 season has been rough would be quite an understatement.
In losses to Mayfield, San Marino and Glendora, St. Lucy’s has been outscored by a combined margin of 193-28.
Rylie Anderson led GHS with 17 points.
Hailey Schaffer chipped in with 14 points.
Becky Zweerink had nine points and Addison Martin and Gina Bidolli both contributed six points each.
Up next: GHS will battle Northview tonight (Friday) at 8 in the tourney semifinal.
