Girls Basketball:
In the ultimate mismatch, undefeated La Salle cruised to a 63-28 victory over winless Schurr at the Arroyo Tournament.
The Lancers got a game-high 13 points from Kaden Cortes.
Reese Wong and Casey Higgins had 12 points apiece, and Audrey Chen contributed 11 points to Wednesday night’s victory.
Ligia Gonzalez led Schurr with 10 points and Leslie Cano and Ashley Hernandez chipped in with five points each.
Up next: In a battle of unbeatens, La Salle will battle Glendale (4-0) tonight (Thursday) at 7.
