Girls Water Polo:
West Covina picked up victory No. 1 of the 2022-23 season on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs defeated Mayfield, 8-4, behind three goals from Victoria Tu.
Sam Guerra had a solid game in goal, blocking 11 of the 15 shots she faced.
Salma Valle contributed two goals for WCHS.
Up next: West Covina will travel to Wilson next Tuesday at 3:30.
