Girls Basketball:
Flintridge Prep didn’t waste any time blowing out opponents.
In the first game of the new 2022-23 season, the Lady Wolves dominated St. Pius, 80-27, on Monday at the Muir Tournament.
Fast forward one day, and Prep decimated Morningside, 75-16, on Tuesday.
Ashley Chea had 29 points on Monday and 32 in Tuesday’s win.
Pressley Huie came off the bench in her high school debut to score 18 points against St. Pius.
On Tuesday, Huie got her first start and chipped in with 10 points.
Maddie Smith, also a freshman, contributed 39 points total in both wins.
Smith scored 18 on Monday and 21 against Morningside.
