Girls Basketball:
La Salle heads into a mini-Thanksgiving break 4-0 after Tuesday’s 66-31 victory over their visitors from Temple City High School.
The Lancers led by 15 after the first quarter and took a 44-13 advantage into the break.
Audrey Chen had a game-high 20 points for La Salle.
Chen scored 16 of the 20 in the first half that allowed LSHS to pull away from the Rams.
Casey Higgins chipped in with 12 points and 11 rebounds for the Lancers.
Tallulah Trieu led Temple City, scoring 14 points.
And the Rams got 12 points from Alexis Yoshimura, all of which came from beyond the 3-point arc.
Up next: La Salle will face Wilson of Hacienda Heights on Monday night in tournament play.
The tip is set for 7.
