Boys Basketball:
Glendora finished off the Sunny Hills Tournament 2-3 after Saturday’s 55-48 loss to Aquinas.
The Falcons took a 35-21 lead into the half, and were able to held off a second-half Tartans’ surge.
Benji Holt had 11 points, four rebounds and three assists.
Max Hilgenfeldt also had 11 points and two assists for GHS.
Landon Barragan added 10 points in the loss.
Colton Gray was held to single figures in points, but had a solid tournament.
Gray finished with four points, seven rebounds and five assists on Saturday.
Aquinas’ Keishmer Foster led all scorers with 18 points.
Bol Dhieu had 13 and Wesley Hatcher contributed 11 points for the Falcons.
Up next: Glendora won’t be back in action until Nov. 28th, when they face South Hills in San Dimas Tournament play.
