Girls Hoops:
Portola was able to edge Glendora, 53-51, in a Wednesday contest that saw all four quarters decided by four points or less.
Rylie Anderson led GHS and scorers with 20, Hailey Schaffer added 11 and Brianna Gomez chipped in with 10 points for the Tartans.
Portola’s offensive attack was paced by Kalynne Abraham Mendez’s 12 points.
And Kira Watanabe and Moka Saiki provided 11 points apiece in the Bulldogs victory.
Up next: GHS will face Los Alamitos on Friday at 4:30 in tournament play.
