Boys Basketball:
Things looked good for Glendora at the half in Wednesday’s Sunny Hills Tournament contest against Ontario Christian.
The Tartans held an 11-point lead, and looked to up their record to 2-1.
But Ontario Christian would outscore GHS by 15 in the second half to claim a 51-47 victory.
Cole Jones (16) and Gage Messick (14) combined for 30 points for the Knights.
Colton Gray led the GHS attack with a game-high 19 points to go along with his 10 rebounds.
Chris Lee chipped in with eight points, three rebounds and three assists.
Benji Holt contributed seven points and a pair of rebounds.
Ian Wang finished with five points and two boards.
Up next: GHS will battle Santa Fe on Friday at 4:30 at Troy High School.
