Colton Gray’s 12 Points & 13 Rebounds Leads Glendora to a 50-44 Victory Over El Dorado at Sunny Hills Tournament

Boys Basketball:

Glendora opened the 2022-23 season by edging El Dorado, 50-44, at the Sunny Hills Tournament.

The Tartans led by a bucket at the half, took a three-point advantage into the final period, and were able to outlast the Golden Hawks by six.

Colton Gray had a big day for GHS.

The 6-foot-4 sophomore finished with 12 points, 13 rebounds and two assists.

Chris Lee provided 10 points, five rebounds and one assist.

Elijah Regan chipped in with six points and six rebounds.

El Dorado got a game-high 19 points from Cooper Bladow.

And then the Golden Hawks scoring dipped to seven points from Ethan Chi, and Nate Natividad added six points in the loss.

Up next: The Tartans will battle Roosevelt today (Tuesday) at 4:30.

The Mustangs (1-0) opened their season with a 60-53 victory over Beckman.
