Silvana Stans’ program has gotten contributions from everyone in their lineup.
And No. 1 singles player, Sam Frick, leads the way.
On Tuesday, Mayfield opened league play with an 11-7 victory over Westridge.
It was the Tigers first loss of the season.
Frick went 3-0, and won by scores of 6-3, 6-3 and 6-0.
Three days later, the Cubs blanked Providence, 18-0.
And the Mayfield captain earned three team points after individual victories of 6-0, 6-0 and 6-0.
Up next: The Cubs will battle Poly on Thursday.
The match is set to start at 3:30 at the Whittier Narrows Tennis Club.
