Girls Volleyball:
After going 2-5 at last weekend’s Durango Classic in Las Vegas, the Flintridge Sacred Heart program got a much-needed shot in the arm.
The Tologs improved to 2-0 in Angelus League matches after Thursday’s four-game victory over Chaminade.
FSHA won by scores of 25-21,21-25,25-16 and 25-23.
The Eagles entered the contest at 19-0 overall and 3-0 in league.
Nikki Garriola led the way with 14 Kills six aces and 13 digs.
Piper Scherbert added seven kills and 10 digs.
Mikayla Hsieh contributed five kills, 16 assists and 17 digs.
Charlotte Taylor chipped in with 15 digs and three aces.
Ally Du had 15 assists and 13 digs.
And Lindsey Du finished with 14 digs in Thursday’s win.
Up next: The Tologs will compete at this weekend’s Crescenta Valley Tournament.
FSHA gets Castaic at 4, Venice at 6 and finish their night in an 8 pm showdown with Arcadia.
