Boys Water Polo:
West Covina didn’t waste any time in putting away Thursday’s nonleague contest with visiting Monrovia.
The Bulldogs had an 11-goal lead at the half and cruised to a 26-6 victory over the Wildcats.
Andrew Encarnacion and Matthew Munoz led WCHS with seven goals and two assists apiece.
Zachary Elhusseiny had six goals and a team-high five steals.
Izaiah Reyes contributed three goals and three steals.
Matthew Vasquez chipped in with three goals and three assists.
Ryan Diaz finished with 12 saves.
Up next: The Bulldogs travel to Walnut on Monday at 3:30.
