Football:
After starting the 2022 season 0-2 and being outscored 71-20, the Lancers have won two consecutive games.
La Salle got victory No. 1 last week when Will Clougherty filled in for an injured David Mysza at quarterback and led the Lancers to an eight-point win over Bonita.
It was a result that surprised many.
Fast forward a week, and Mysza was back behind center in another La Salle victory.
The Lancers got out to an early 20-point lead and crushed their visitors from Rosemead, 48-0, last night.
Mysza completed 12 of his 15 passing attempts for 271 yards.
And that included four TD passes.
He might not have been at quarterback, but Clougherty made another huge impact for the Lancers.
Clougherty had a rushing TD, two sacks on defense, and a blocked punt that he recovered for another score.
Anthony Balurdi carried the ball 11 times for 60 yards and a TD.
Up next: The Lancers travel to Los Angeles to battle Cathedral next Friday the 7.
The Phantoms (3-1) defeated Lawndale, 39-10, on Friday.
