Nathan Noguez-Estrada is off to a great start to his senior season.
The Azusa High School quarterback exploded in Saturday’s 51-6, season-opening victory over Mountain View.
Noguez-Estrada threw for five scores and rushed for another.
Noguez-Estrada hit Jimmy Romo on 60-and-40-yard TD passes in the first six minutes, and the Aztecs would never look back.
Noguez-Estrada and Romo also hooked up on a 29-yard TD.
The Aztecs QB tossed one TD each to Jeremiah Potter (40 yards) and Brody Peters (31).
He also had a 65-yard rushing TD and had two more that got called back on penalties.
After Mountain View pulled to within 12-6 at Citrus College in the first quarter, Azusa would score the game’s final 39 points.
