Quotable:
Marshall Fundamental coach, Jeffrey Thai: “Alverno has been our rival all summer as we are equally matched. Our defense remains our team’s backbone and it carried us to victory tonight. Although it won’t show on the stats sheet, one of our captains, Lauren Sandoval’s defense saved a lot of points for us throughout the match.”
