Football:
St. Francis opened the 2022 season with a Thursday scrimmage at Quartz Hill.
From all reports, the Golden Knights transfer running back, Devyn Turner, is as good as advertised.
Turner rushed for north of 1,000 yards and had 19 TD’s for Allen High School in Texas.
SFHS senior Jack Jacobs should be one of the SGV area’s most complete quarterbacks in 2022.
Last season, Jacobs threw for just under 2,000 yards and tossed 10 TD passes.
The Golden Knights signal caller rushed for 533 yards, scored 13 TD’s on the ground and led the program to the D-3 title game.
St. Francis opens the season with three consecutive road games before hosting St. Pius on September 9.
